The library is  open from 7:15-3:45 Monday thru Thursday and 7:15-3:30 on Fridays.  We have computers available for schoolwork as soon as the library is open and free printer to use for school work. The Media Center also has a colored printer for a fee.  The librarian also offers time for time as needed after school Monday-Thursday till 4:30.  Please check with her if this service is needed so she can place you on the schedule. We have chess sets set up in the library for a game of chess in the mornings and during lunches.  We have various card  and board games and a puzzle table available during library hours.  You are allowed to eat breakfast in the library as long as you are careful and various cappuccino's, coffees, and flavored ice teas are sold during the mornings and at  different times throughout the day.  We are open during lunches but you must eat lunch in the lunchroom and come in afterwards. We have both fiction and nonfiction books available along with a selection of mangas.  You may check out up to five books at a time for a month.  Fees are charged if late.  The librarian reserves the right to limit books if needed. If your library book is two weeks late after the due date the librarian may charge the book to your account and order a new book.  If you need the library to finish up assignments after school just check with the librarian and I am sure she can work out a time to open.  A reading/study room is available.

The library strives to be a safe and welcoming space and offers many activities and as long as you are respectful you are more than welcome to join us.  I look forward to meeting you and helping you during your years at Johnson County High School.
